YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 11, ARMENPRESS. On September 11, the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan held a consultation aimed to discuss the results of the research in the Traffic Police of Armenia done by President's Oversight Service. As “Armenpress” was informed from the Department of Information and Mass Media of the President’s Staff of the Republic of Armenia, the Police Chief of the Republic of Armenia Vladimir Gasparyan, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, Minister of Finance Gagik Khachatryan, head of the Armenian President's Oversight Service, Hovhannes Hovsepyan, Chief Of Traffic Police Armen Hakobyan, head of the research group Armen Sakapetoyan, founder of “Security dream” company Gurgen Zakaryan attended the consultation.

“I think it is time to sum up the results and see the positive trends and also drawbacks to outline the ways that will eliminate those drawbacks. If you remember when the cameras were installed, including speed cameras, the number of the records by devices was so large that some people started to feel uncertainty. But the experts told that within a very short period that number would decrease, and it happened exactly that way. Some time later the number of the records decreased by 70%”, said the President of the Republic in his opening speech.

The head of the Armenian President's Oversight Service, Hovhannes Hovsepyan, reported the quantitative data of the research done by the assignment of the President.

The President of the Republic of Armenia gave a number of instructions based on the results of the research.
