Russia entry ban lifted of 3700 Armenian citizens

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 11, ARMENPRESS. There’s a serious progress in the process of lifting the Russian Federation entry ban of the Armenian citizens. The latter is the result of the effective Armenian-Russian cooperation. In the beginning of the procedure only 23 percent of the applications sent by Armenian Migration Service was replied to, now – 63 percent is answered and in case of 3 applications, two are returned with positive responses.  Head of State Migration Service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia Gagik Yeganyan told the aforementioned to “Armenpress” journalists.

“This is a very laborious activity because individual work is done with each person, each is explained how to write an application, content, what documents are required as in many cases they are not even aware what to do.  Till now 11 thousand people have turned to us with the request of lifting entry ban in Russia. We have already sent 9500 applications to Russian Federal Migration Service and received 7500 replies. Presently we have already managed to lift ban for 3700 people which implied tense and overwhelmed work.”, said Yeganyan.

Yeganyan concluded saying that the cooperation between Russia and Armenia Migration Services is a good example of Armenian-Russian cooperation.
