Parallel to the agenda of the summit, Aram I Catholicos gave interviews to Greek, Armenian and international journals and news agencies. The interviews were mainly focused on extremism in the Middle East and partnership of religions.

During the inter-religious summit held in Athens His Holiness emphasized that the religious extremism is among the most worrisome evils of the current world. Hence, its eradication can be realistic only by universal attempts and supposes planned actions by political, economic, military, religious and other influential forces.
