YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS. In the framework of “Shant 2015” planned Military Command and Staff Exercises the scenario of transportation of cultural heritage samples to special storages was played in the National Gallery of Armenia. At the beginning of evacuation activities Arman Tsaturyan, director of the National Gallery of Armenia noted that they carry out with high level readiness the evacuation of samples of primary cultural value according to the order of Republic of Armenia Culture Ministry.  

Arman Tsaturyan said that there are about 42 thousand exhibits in vaults of the National Gallery of Armenia and only 3500 samples are exhibited. “I am hopeful that we will be able to exhibit all the items in the future.”, noted Tsaturyan, adding that air temperature in the vault is 18-22 degrees.

On September 3 “Shant 2015” Military Command and Staff Exercises started in Armenia.

The nationwide event “Shant 2015” Exercises are aimed at raising the level of state’s immediate preparation for defense, military and state bodies mobilization preparedness in repulsing the act of aggression, rechecking the ability of bringing to high degree of readiness and raising the level of harmony in cooperation and actions.

Taking into account the military and political situation surrounding Armenia, the scenario of the Exercises includes а fictious rival and the situation is maximally adapted to reality.
