Iran seeks to regain lost opportunities in world oil market

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS. The Islamic Republic of Iran seeks to regain lost opportunities in the world oil market after the sanctions are lifted. The Oil Minister of the IRI, Bijan Nmadar Zanganeh announced about this. “Immediately after lifting sanctions, it’s our right to return to the level of production we historically had,” “Armenpress” reports, citing “TASS”, that PressTV channel informed about this.

He mentioned that after lifting sanctions Iran will raise output by 500,000 barrels a day and by 1 million barrels within the following five months. “No doubt, drop of world oil prices will slow doen Iran’s return to world oil market. I think that most OPEC members would like to see crude prices at $70 to $80 a barrel”, stressed Zanganeh.
