Bako Sahakyan: Artsakh becomes one of the most significant regional cultural centers

STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS. On September 1 President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan and President Serzh Sargsyan of the Republic of Armenia were present at the staging of Giuseppe Verdi's "Requiem" opera held at the Stepanakert Revival square. As “Armenpress” was informed from the Central Information Department of the Office to Artsakh President, President Sahakyan noted with satisfaction that staging of various operas in our republic with the participation of renowned stars became a good tradition and demonstrated that Artsakh had become one of the most significant regional cultural centers.

Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, NKR National Assembly chairman Ashot Ghoulyan, prime-minister Arayik Haroutyunyan, high ranking officials from Artsakh and Armenia, representatives of the Diaspora and foreign guests particiapted in the event.
