Lovers of literature have a chance to gain information about the tendencies in the classical and contemporary literature. This week Armenpress has singled out two newly published books:

Almost all stories of this collection have a common thread – it is the feeling of being on the margins, deprived of the ability to shape your life, lacking control over your destiny and the accumulation of all these feelings. Some of the stories were published in different collections.

Children and Youth Literature

A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett

is a 1905 children's novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett. It is an expanded version of Burnett's 1888 short story entitled Sara Crewe: or, What Happened at Miss Minchin's, which was first serialized in St. Nicholas Magazine from 1887 to 1888. Based on a 2007 online poll, the National Education Association named the book one of its "Teachers' Top 100 Books for Children. It was one of the "Top 100 Chapter Books" of all time in a 2012 poll by School Library Journal.
