YEREVAN, AUGUST 23, ARMENPRESS. President of the Republic of Armenia visited within his working visit to Kotayk region, the participants of “Union 2015: Victory Descendants” military sports gathering in Tsaghkadzor military and sports base August 22. Armenpress was informed on the aforementioned from the Department of Public Relations and Mass Media of the Office to the President of the Republic of Armenia.

The President watched the military exercises and the exposition of military equipment and military  products made in Armenia.

The President noted that there are many challenges in the modern world and it is possible to overcome them only with joint efforts.

In his welcoming speech addressed to the participants of the contest-gathering Serzh Sargsyan said that it was symbolic that the event was organized in the 70th jubilee of the Great Victory: the Great Patriotic War.

In Tsaghkadzor the President of the Republic of Armenia also visited the participants of “Baze 2015” Pan-Armenian youth gathering organized by the Youth Foundation of Armenia.
