YEREVAN, JULY 3, ARMENPRESS. 150 tons of food, rice, pasta and groats, was sent to the conscripts of the national Army by "Artsakh" Compatriot Union on August 3.  As “Armenpress” was informed from the Department of Information and Public Affairs of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, according to the Compatriot Union’s president Varujan Grigoryan, supporting soldiers is his job as already during the Artsakh war the Compatriot Union formed volunteer units and provided logistical support.

The food allocated by the Union is taken to the central food base of the MOD of Armenia from where it will be delivered to the military units of the armed forces. Head of the division of Food Planning of the Armed Forces Food Service Ara Margaryan underlined that all the units of the Armed Forces are fully provided by appropriate food but such charity initiations are perceived positively by the MOD and prove that the society always stands by the army and takes care of his soldiers.
