YEREVAN, AUGUST 3, ARMENPRESS. The Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia Armen Ashotyan received the members of the Armenian delegation for "World Skills" -2015 international contest on August 3. The 43rd contest of "World Skills" will be held from August 11 to 16 in Belgian San Paulo city.  As “Armenpress” was informed from the Ministry of Education, Armen Ashotyan inquired from the participants of the contest how they prepared for the contest and what expectations they have. The Minister hoped that within the upcoming years Armenia will become a full member of “World Skills" international organization.

In this context the Minister highlighted the involvement of investors, businessmen and international donor organization. Armen Ashotyan thanked the coordinator of the WS Armenia project of GIZ organization for supporting the team and for covering the expenses.

The participants mentioned at their turn that they have prepared very well and expect only victory. At the end of the meeting Armen Ashotyan wished success to the team members.

Currently, 75 countries are member of “World Skills”. Armenia will compete in mechatronics, IT network management systems and jewelry specializations in the 43rd contest of “World Skills”.
