EEU countries discuss new draft pension agreement

YEREVAN, MAY 29, ARMENPRESS: In the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, a new draft pension agreement is discussed. The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Artem Asatryan stated about it during the presentation of the annual report on the “State budget of the Republic of Armenia 2014” at the National Assembly.
“There will be some changes in the citizens’ pension agreement. It is planned that every country should provide for the payments of the citizens for the given period, who worked for the particular country. In terms of the facilitation of the citizens’ movement, independent from what country’s citizen he is, the social guaranties, including the pension insurance law, should be realized in the country, where the person lives and works”, - stated the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Armenpress reports.
