YEREVAN, 22 MAY, ARMENPRESS. On May 21, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Poland Edgar Ghazaryan visited the Polish city of Lublin where he had a meeting with Deputy Mayor Artur Shimchik. As the Department of Press, Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, during the meeting, the sides discussed the perspectives of the establishment of friendly ties between Lublin and the cities of Armenia, in regard to which the mayor of Lublin had previously addressed the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Poland.

Attaching importance to the development of decentralized relations between Poland and Armenia, Ambassador Ghazaryan informed that the embassy accepted the initiative of the mayor of Lublin with pleasure and that a concrete proposal would be submitted following discussions with partners in Armenia. Taking into consideration the presence of the corresponding potential, the interlocutors also attached importance to the cooperation in the economic and IT sectors.
