YEREVAN, 22 MAY, ARMENPRESS. On May 22, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ashot Hovakimyan received Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Senate of Mexico Gabriela Cuevas. As the Department of Press, Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, during the conversation, the sides discussed a broad range of issues related to the bilateral relations and underscored the need for expansion and strengthening of cooperation in several sectors. Ashot Hovakimyan presented in detail Armenia’s views on the regulation of the Karabakh issue and touched upon several other regional issues that are important for Armenia.

Gabriela Cuevas mentioned that her country was interested in establishing closer ties with Armenia and assured that she would be actively involved in that process.
