Diaspora Ministry ready to organize holidays of Aleppo Armenian children

YEREVAN, MAY 19, ARMENPRESS: The Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia is ready to organize the summer holidays of the Aleppo Armenian children in Yerevan. According to the information of the Ministry, on May 12 the school classes and exams were completed in Syria. It is expected that there will be school-age children and parents, who want to spend their summer holidays in Armenia or finally return to their homeland. The press service of the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress about it.
The Ministry of Diaspora is in continual contact with the Armenian diplomatic missions in Syria, the heads of the “Ambulance and recovery”, the representatives of the Armenia's non-governmental organizations, coordinating the Syrian Armenian issues.
“Our partners are also the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the Red Cross, AGBU and other pan-Armenian organizations. Those of our compatriots, who arrive in Armenia, will get the same assistance, as the predecessors. In particular, the children will be provided with the opportunity to rest in the camps, organized due to the funds, provided by the Government of the Republic of Armenia. The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the Armenian Catholic Church, Armenian Evangelical Church and other structures as well expressed readiness to organize the holidays of the children”, - the Ministry said.
