Pozner promised to ask Israeli PM about Armenian Genocide recognition

YEREVAN, MAY 7, ARMENPRESS:  The Russian telejournalist and broadcaster Vladimir Pozner will raise the issue of the Armenian Genocide recognition during the meeting with the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Armenpress reports that Pozner gave such a promise during the interview to the Public Television of Armenia, touching upon the Armenian Genocide recognition and the positions of the USA and Israel on the issue.
Responding to the question why such countries like the United States and Israel do not recognize the Armenian Genocide, Vladimir Pozner answered: “I have an explanation for that, but, unfortunately, I have not talked to the US President on this issue. Turkey is a very important part of the NATO, occupying strategic geographical position. They do not want to spoil the relations with Turkey. Concerning Israel, I will ask Mr. Netanyahu this question, as I will have the opportunity to meet and interview him”.
