YEREVAN, 18 APRIL, ARMENPRESS. Incumbent President of the Football Federation of Armenia Ruben Hayrapetyan was reelected after a voting held during the 13^th Congress of the Football Federation of Armenia. As “Armenpress” reports, the members of the Federation’s executive committee were also reelected during the congress. Prior to the congress, the gathered respected the memory of Armenian football legend Haruytun Keheyan with a moment of silence. Keheyan passed away yesterday. Summing up the results of the activities carried out by the Football Federation of Armenia last year, Hayrapetyan stated that the Federation’s budget had grown ten-fold. According to Hayrapetyan, the Federation’s key issue has been and still is the lack of football coaches for children and teens.

“This year we’ll apply the method that will help us disqualify coaches who won’t aspire to achieve perfection. They’re doing the wrong thing and aren’t helping children fix their mistakes,” Hayrapetyan said and stated that he was also wrong when choosing the Armenian national football team’s chief coach.
