Genocide survivors of Armenia’s Ararat Region provided with assistance

ARTASHAT, APRIL 15, ARMENPRESS: Three Armenian Genocide survivors, 108-year-old Mariam Shmavon Grigoryan, 106-year-old Heriknaz Bare Muradyan and 100-year-old Mariam Hovhannes Sahakyan, living correspondingly in Vanashen, Argavand and Aigavan communities of Ararat Region of the Republic of Armenia, were visited by the Head of the Department of Health and Social Welfare of the Regional Administration Stepan Khachatryan.
The Head of the Department told Armenpress that the women were visited also by the directors of medical centers of the region, representatives of health stations and the heads of the abovementioned villages. The women were handed over baskets, provided by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, containing pressure measuring devices, thermometers and hygiene supplies.
