Armenia and Kazakhstan to deepen cooperation in the sphere of emergency situations

Armenia and Kazakhstan to deepen cooperation in the sphere of
emergency situations

YEREVAN, 31 MARCH, ARMENPRESS. The Governments of Armenia and Kazakhstan will sign an agreement on cooperation in the spheres of civil defense, as well as the prevention and elimination of emergency situations. The issue on giving consent to the draft of the agreement is included in the agenda for the April 2 session of the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

“The development of Armenian-Kazakh relations has been stable, especially in the past decades. The friendly relations between the nations of both countries have grown quite a lot. Efforts in the field of emergency situations have a special place and role in those multivector relations, and that is due to the geographical position of both states, as well as the accession to the same military-political alliance (CSTO) and membership to the same economic cooperation organizations (CIS, BSEC),” as stated in the justification for the draft.
