YEREVAN, 31 MARCH, ARMENPRESS. On March 31, the Zavaryan Student Association of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun held a roundtable discussion devoted to the Armenian Genocide Centennial at the Lawyers Center in Beirut with the title “The Armenian Cause and International Justice in the light of Political Changes in the Region” . As “Armenpress” reports, the Chairman of the Syndicate of Lawyers mentioned that the Armenians never forget their history, that they need to be respected and that historical justice must be restored. He emphasized the role of Lebanese-Armenians in the development and economic advancement of the country and concluded by saying that Turkey must recognize the Armenian Genocide and make reparations for the Armenians.

Member of Parliament of Lebanon Dassan Moukhaiber talked about the Young Turks’ policy, Dr. Leila Rahbani touched upon the future role of Turkey and its impact on the Armenian Cause, and the discussion ended with a speech by representative of the ARF-D Lebanon Central Committee, Deputy Hagop Pakradouni, who urged the gathered to demand that the Lebanese government declare April 24^th as a day of support to fight against Genocide.
