STEPANAKERT, 28 MARCH, ARMENPRESS. On March 28, a solemn ceremony of awarding took place at the Artsakh Republic President's residence. As the Central Information Department of the Office of the Artsakh Republic President reports to "Armenpress", for rebuffing the enemy’s encroachments in different sections of the NKR state border and carrying out a worthy counter-stroke, as well as for personal bravery and courage shown during the combat operations taken place in March of 2015, a group of servicemen of the Defense Army were granted state awards: a serviceman with the Battle Cross Order of the second degree, nineteen servicemen with the “For Courage” medal, twenty six servicemen with “For Service in Battle” medal; twenty-two servicemen were handed in valuable gifts. In his speech addressed to the Motherland defenders President Sahakyan underlined that our servicemen had shown great patriotism and high professionalism proving once again that the frontiers of our Motherland were steadfast and any action of the enemy against our country's independence and security were condemned to failure.
