Armenian government and European Union sign three documents

YEREVAN, 16 MARCH, ARMENPRESS. Three documents were signed in government in the presence of Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan, including the 10 mln Euro loan agreement on the “Caucasian Electronic Communication Network” Program signed by Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia Gagik Khachatryan and Vice-President of the European Investment Bank Wilhelm Molterer, the memorandum of mutual understanding on the “Caucasian Electronic Communication Network” Program signed by Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia Yervand Zakharyan, Head of the EU Delegation to the Republic of Armenia Traian Hristea, EIB Vice-President Wilhelm Molterer and Director of the Department of Energy and Transport KfW Bank Jan Bloom, as well as the investment agreement “On Armenia’s Accession to the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership Fund”. The latter was signed by Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia Yervand Zakharyan and Director of the ESP Fund Andres Land, on behalf of EBRD.

 As the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Government of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, Prime Minister Abrahamyan welcomed the signing of the documents and expressed confidence that they would play an important role in and would make a notable contribution to Armenia-European Union relations and Armenia’s economic development.
