YEREVAN, 23 FEBRUARY, ARMENPRESS. On February 23, the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia hosted a teleconference with the youth wing of the Armenian community of Almaty, that is, the Armenian Youth Foundation of Kazakhstan. As the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan attached importance to the young Armenians’ active efforts and stressed the fact that youth lie at the core of the survival and advancement of Armenian communities of the Diaspora.

President of the Armenian Youth Foundation of Kazakhstan Armen Atanesyan talked about the organization’s programs, as well as the problems and difficulties. The leader of the organization emphasized the difficulty with air communication and added that direct flights would help Kazakh-Armenian youth show more active participation in the events organized in Armenia.
