Azerbaijan never supported international principles on Karabakh conflict regulation:
Armenia's FM

YEREVAN, JANUARY 27, ARMENPRESS. Armenia has reaffirmed for a number of times its commitment in the issue of settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict based on the international law. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Edward Nalbandian stated this at the course of the press conference held following the negotiations of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

As reports “Armenpress”, among other things, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Edward Nalbandian underscored: “There are international principles for the regulation of the conflict, which are refraining from the threat or use of force, right to self-determination and territorial integrity. Armenia has reaffirmed its willingness in the issue of regulation of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict based on these norms.”

In addition, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Edward Nalbandian noted that Azerbaijan, on the contrary, has never supported the aforesaid principles, which is the reason why no progress has been recorded in the peaceful negotiations on conflict’s settlement.
