Frontier troops fully control frontline: Karabakh Defense Army

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS: In accordance with the operative data, provided by the Defense Army of Nagorno Karabakh Republic, within the period ranging from December 21 to December 27, the rival violated the ceasefire regime for about 900 times on the line of contact of Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing armies. More than 11000 bullets were fired towards our troops during this period.
The Press Service of the Ministry of Defense of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic informed Armenpress that the Azerbaijani Armed Forces initiated a subversive penetration attempt at 01:30 at night on December 25 in two directions of the southeast sector of the Defense Army of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic. During the subversive action the enemy used different types of attacking weapons, including hand grenades.
The frontier subdepartments of the Defense Army suspended the penetration attempt of the rival’s special forces, causing them losses and making to retreat to their positions. Confronting the rival, the Defense Army suffered no losses.
The front units of the Defense Army gave relevant response to the rival, when it was necessary, and kept the operative-tactical situation under the constant control.
