YEREVAN, 26 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. Head of the faction of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun of the National Assembly Armen Rustamyan touched upon the personal insults that some deputies representing the faction of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) have addressed ARF-D Deputy Artsvik Minasyan with. Over the past couple of days, some deputies representing the Prosperous Armenia Party have targeted member of the ARF-D Artsvik Minasyan via specific mass media outlets, and Artsvik Minasyan has even received personal insults. 

As “ArmenPress” reports, head of the ARF-D faction of the National Assembly Armen Rustamyan has commented on the personal insults at the request of Yerkir.am: “We don’t understand and don’t accept it. It’s ugly behavior, especially when the people acting like that are members of a political party with which we have established cooperation hinged on respect and confidence. In a regular interview, Artsvik Minasyan made comments and gave evaluations that reflect the ARF-D’s positions. We’re surprised to see them take the offensive. Are there forces and individuals in Armenia who can’t make mistakes and can’t be criticized? We don’t accept that low level of debates. I remind that Artsvik Minasyan is a member of our faction and the Supreme Body and expresses the views of the Dashnaktsutyun. Those insulting him won’t remain unpunished. Nevertheless, we have urged our fellow member not to respond to insults. That’s not how we do things. We also expect the Prosperous Armenia Party to touch upon the deputies’ behavior and draw conclusions, especially since there will always be people who will want to heat things up and take advantage of the situation. We’ll be patiently waiting for the response from the PAP,” Rustamyan said.
