YEREVAN, DECEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS. The Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia Armen Yeritsyan celebrates his birthday on December 25. As reports “Armenpress”, before the launch of the session of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan congratulated Armen Yeritsyan on his birthday and wished him success. Today Armen Yeritsyan turns 54.

Armen Yeritsyan was born on December 25, 1960, in Yerevan.

Yeristyan studied in Yerevan High School No.2, then in 1984 -1986, at Kaliningrad Specialized School of Militia by USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs. In 1987-1990, he studied at the Volgograd High School of Investigations by USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The Minister worked as the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Deputy Head of Police, First Deputy Head of Police, Minister of Emergency Situations. Since December 1, 2014, Yeritsyan is the Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

Yeritsyan also received the Medal of Fighting Services awarded under a presidential decree signed on December 28, 2012. 1978-1981, Service in the Soviet Army, awarded the Medal of Courage, Medal for Excellent Public Order Enforcement, Mkhitar Gosh Medal, he is Doctor of Jurisprudence, author of 10 monographs, 3 collections of international legal acts and over 100 research papers, lecturer at Yerevan State University.

Armen Yeritsyan is married, with two children and three grandchildren.
