Currency market stabilizes, prices drop: Deputy PM

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS: The currency market in the Republic of Armenia has been stabilized and at this moment the sale and purchase differences in the exchange units make from 3 to 5 drams, which is within standard. Armenpress reports that the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and the Minister of International Economic Integration and Reforms Vache Gabrielyan stated about it at the session of the Government, presenting the results of the works carried out by the working group, founded by the instructions by the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan.
According to Gabrielyan, during the fluctuations of the currency, 94 shops were closed and did not function, though now all the shops have returned to normal activity. “There was a situation, when the shops had all the products but no prices for them were mentioned. That problem has also been solved”, - the Deputy PM underscored.
