Nazarbayev ratifies treaty on Armenia’s accession to the EEU

YEREVAN, 24 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has signed a law on ratification of the treaty on Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union. This is posted on the official website of the President of Kazakhstan, as “ArmenPress” reports.
On December 23, the completion of the procedure of Armenia’s accession to the EEU was announced during the session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. The treaty signed on 10 October 2014 underwent all the national procedures of Armenia, Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. The EEU will fully start functioning on January 1, 2015, and Armenia will become a full-fledged member of the EEU on January 2, 2015.
