The stage of debates in the trial on two members of the Azerbaijani investigative-diversion group having illegally crossed the NKR state border through Shahumyan, culprit Shahbaz Guliyev and Dilham Askerov, was held at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic on December 19. As “ArtsakhPress” reports to “ArmenPress”, state prosecutor Karen Gabrielyan delivered an accusatory speech during the trial.

All the evidence of the death of minor resident of the Shahumyan region, Smbat Tsakanyan show that the crime was committed by one person and that that person was Dilham Askerov. According to prosecutor Karen Gabrielyan, it is a fact that Guliyet was one of the three members of the gang. The prosecutor suggested giving culprit Dilham Askerov a life sentencing and sentencing Shahbaz Guliyet to 22 years in prison, in accordance with the corresponding Articles of the NKR Criminal Code.
