Dram devaluation rate weakens

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 17, ARMENPRESS: In a night the U.S. dollar rate has increased by 4,26 drams in the banks and exchange units of Armenia. On December 17 it made 25 drams. Today in the morning the average sale rate of the dollar is 550,38. By the way, the minimum price of the dollar sale has been defined by the banks to be 530 and the maximum – 570.
Armenpress reports that the sale rate of euro reduced today by 0,31 drams. In the morning the banks bought euro on average for 639,17 drams and sold for 688,89 drams. Notwithstanding a slight devaluation, the euro demand considerably exceeds the supply, in the result of which a significant purchase and sale margin has emerged.
In comparison with yesterday, the Russia’s ruble rate has increased by 0,34 drams. The banks buy the ruble on average for 8,30 drams and sell for 9,56.
