YEREVAN, 28 NOVEMBER, ARMENPRESS. President Serzh Sargsyan received today Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Nikolay Bordyuzha, who is in the Republic of Armenia on a working visit. As the Department of Mass Media and Public Relations of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Armenia reports to “ArmenPress”, the interlocutors discussed issues related to the sitting of the Collective Security Council of the CSTO to be held in Moscow in December and the preparations and agendas for the joint session of other regulatory bodies, as well as touched upon the implementation of the decisions adopted during the previous sitting of the Council.

During the meeting, Nikolay Bordyuzha discussed the current activities of the unified headquarters of the CSTO, as well as issues on the Organization ensuring security in the Collective Security region in the Caucasus. In that context, the interlocutors touched upon the recent downing by Azerbaijani armed forces of the helicopter of the NKR Armed Forces in training. According to Nikolay Bordyuzha, the helicopter downing will be discussed during the sitting of the Collective Security Council of the CSTO.
