YEREVAN, 21 NOVEMBER, ARMENPRESS. On November 18, the third day of her working visit to the United Kingdom, Armenia’s Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan visited the Hayashen Centre for Armenian Information and Advice where she had a meeting with Director Misak Ohanian and the employees, as well as representatives of the British-Armenian community, which is provided with the Centre’s services. According to “ArmenPress”, Minister Hakobyan also had a meeting with leaders of the Social Democrat (Hunchakian) Party’s UK Chapter and the Nor Serount Cultural Association. The sides discussed issues on cooperation with the Ministry of Diaspora, touched upon the preservation of the Armenian language and exchanged views on future plans. 

In the evening, the minister had a meeting with members of the Armenian Genocide Centennial UK Committee at the “Armenian Home” in London. The minister provided details on the programs and events to be held in Armenia. In their turn, the co-chairs of the Committee introduced the minister to the events that the Armenian Genocide Centennial UK Committee will be holding next year.
