YEREVAN, 20 NOVEMBER, ARMENPRESS. The delegation led by Armenia’s Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan, who is in Italy to participate in the Second International Conference on Nutrition organized by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization and the United Nations World Health Organization, met on November 20 with Minister of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies of Italy Maurizio Martina. Armenia’s Ambassador to Italy Sargis Ghazaryan was also attending the meeting.

As the Department of Press, Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia reports to “ArmenPress”, the ministers discussed the opportunities for the development of cooperation and relations between the two countries in the agriculture sector and attached importance to the need for exchange of experiences and scientific information between their ministries.

At the end of the meeting, Ministers Sergo Karapetyan and Maurizio Martina signed a Memorandum of Mutual Understanding between the Ministry of Agriculture of Armenia and the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies of Italy.
