Cypriot delegation visits Tsitsernakaberd Memorial

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 20, ARMENPRESS: On November 20 the delegation led by the President of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Cyprus Yiannakis Omirou accompanied by the Vice President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Eduard Sharmazanov and the National Assembly’s Chief of Staff-General Secretary Hrayr Tovmasyan visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex of the Armenian Genocide, Armenpress reports, citing the Department for Mass Media and Public Relations National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
The members of the delegation laid a wreath and flowers at the memorial eternalizing the memory of the 1915 Armenian Genocide and bowed and honored the memory of one and a half million innocent victims with a minute of silence. The guests have also been to the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.
