YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 13, ARMENPRESS. The President of the Republic of Armenia, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan paid a working visit to the Nagorno Karabakh Republic on November 13. The Mass media and Public Relations Department of the Armenian President’s Office informed “Armenpress” that within the framework of the joint operative-tactical military exercises “Unity 2014” of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia and the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, Serzh Sargsyan, accompanied by the President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan, the Ministers of Defense and high-ranking representatives of the Armed Forces of the two Armenian republics, will visit a number of the Defense Army’s military units, get acquainted with the combat readiness of the armed forces and current activities of army-building, as well as, watch demonstration trainings.

Before that, the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan paid a visit to a firing ground of a military unit located in the Gegharkunik Province of the Republic of Armenia, where he watched tactical exercises with combat shooting and encouraged the soldiers, who distinguished themselves in the service.
