YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS: As a member of the CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation, Armenian Culture Minister Hasmik Poghosyan participated in late October in the joint session of the Fund and CIS Humanitarian Cooperation Council.

Presidential Chief of Staff Vigen Sargsyan was elected as chairman of the Council for Humanitarian Cooperation during the session, the press service of the Culture Ministry of Armenia informed Armenpress.

Subsequently, Minister Hasmik Poghosyan left for Sochi, where on October 27 the XXIX session of the CIS Cultural Cooperation Council launched.

With Hasmik Poghosyan’s proposal, the regular session of the CIS Council for Cultural Cooperation has been decided to hold in Yerevan, in the 2nd half of 2015.
