Armenian-Polish expedition to continue excavations in Metsamor site

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 22, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian-Polish expedition has been implementing excavations for two years in the Metsamor city site. The program is continuative and in 2015 the works are to be developed. The Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum and the Historic Environment Service told Armenpress that before the launch of the new programs, the archeologists decided to present their works in a unique way.
The results of the archeological excavations (photos of monuments and findings) carried out in different countries by the representatives of the Institute of Archaeology of the Warsaw University were exhibited at the Metsamor Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum on October 21. The photos made during the excavations of the last years by the specialists of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia and the Preservation Service as well were exhibited at the event.
