Prime Minister of Armenia meets with Isfahan Governor

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 21, ARMENPRESS: On the second day of the official visit to Iran, Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan met with Isfahan Governor Rasul Zargarpur. Hovik Abrahamyan highlighted the cooperation between the provinces of Armenia and Iran, which can be promoted by mutual visits and establishments of friendly ties.

As Government’s press service informed Armenpress, Isfahan Governor expressed gratitude to Armenia’s Prime Minister for visiting their province and highly assessed the role of the Armenian community in development of Isfahan.

Subsequently, the delegation headed by the Prime Minister of Armenia visited the Armenian National Educational Complex of New Julfa (Nor Jugha), where the students of the complex, teachers and Armenian community representatives welcomed them.

Welcoming the guests, Prime Minister Abrahamyan highly assessed the role of the educational complex in preservation of the Armenian identity.

Today, the delegation headed by the Prime Minister will visit “Ararat” sports and culture union of New Jugha, and will participate in a ceremony dedicated to 350th anniversary of St. Hovsep Church, New Jugha.
