The Head Coach of Borussia Dortmund Jurgen Klopp assures that the midfielder of the Armenian National Football Team and Borussia Dortmund Henrikh Mkhitaryan will resume trainings in upcoming days. As reports “Armenpress” citing Borussia Dortmund’s official website, among other things, Jurgen Klopp underscored: “Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s rehabilitation stage passes faster, than it was expected. We are hopeful that he will begin regular trainings in three or five days. I was told that he is recovering faster now.”

Three days after the convincing 3-0 win at RSC Anderlecht, BVB lost 1-0 (1-0) at home to Hamburger SV to slip to 13th in the Bundesliga. Two wins, a draw, four defeats – that’s how Borussia’s record reads so far in this Bundesliga campaign amidst their injury crisis. Jürgen Klopp: “This is miles away from what we want.”

Their trademark “full-throttle“ football, shown by the team on a stunningly regular basis for many years now, was nowhere to be seen for more than an hour on Saturday. It took BVB 72 minutes to create their first chance of the game, with Adrian Ramos forcing a save from Drobny after Lasogga had given the visitors the lead on 35 minutes following a defensive error. BVB then sparked into life, created more chances, but in the end it was too little too late as they slumped to a deserved defeat against bottom-of-the-table HSV.

“We didn't play enough football and didn't exploit the space on the wings enough to cause them bigger problems,” said Jürgen Klopp. “It’s a tough time. We seem to have no impetus up front. We just didn’t get our attack going against HSV, and had to resort to crosses or long balls,” said Marcel Schmelzer. The left back was one of the better performers against HSV, delivering cross after cross into the Hamburg area, but, just like his teammates, couldn’t force a breakthrough. To add to existing woes, the Germany international fractured a bone in his right hand and will be out of action for four weeks.
