YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 22, ARMENPRESS: The military cooperation between Armenia and Russia is on a high and responsible level. The Russian Special Presidential Representative for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail E. Shvydkoy stated about it at the 7^th session of the Armenian-Russian Friendship Parliamentary club, touching upon the remark of the independent deputy of the National Assembly of Armenia Khachatur Kokobelyan concerning the sale of arms to Azerbaijan by Russia. “I agree that the fact of sale of armament by Russia to Azerbaijan is much spoken about but I think that the military cooperation between Armenia and Russia in the framework of the Armenia’s strategic interests is on a high and responsible level”, - stressed Mikhail E. Shvydkoy, Armenpress reports.  

According to Shvydkoy, Armenia today has quite an efficient and prepared army. “At present the army of the Republic of Armenia is really efficient and prepared and I think that this efficiency is due to the high-level Armenian-Russian military cooperation”, - said the Russian Special Presidential Representative for International Cultural Cooperation.
