First slaughterhouses to put into operation

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 15, ARMENPRESS: With the assistance of the Greek government, five slaughterhouses with up-to-date equipment will be put into operation in Armenia in October. The Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Armenia Sergo Karapetyan and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Greece to Armenia Ioannis Tais discussed the implementation process of the program carried out with the support of Greece. The Department for Mass Media and Public Relations of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that Sergo Karapetyan first expressed his gratitude to the Greek Parliament and the Greek nation for criminalizing the Armenian Genocide denial and then passed to the discussion of the issues related to the program.
“In the framework of the program it is intended to build five slaughterhouses with modern equipment in different regions of Armenia. We are thankful to the Greek government for the assistance provided to Armenia in the crisis time”, - said the Minister.
