Armenia and Karabakh Presidents attend opening of Geological State Museum in Shoushi
09:38, 2 September 2014STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS. On 1 September Presidents of the Artsakh Republic and the Republic of Armenia Bako Sahakyan and Serzh Sargsyan respectively took part in a solemn opening ceremony of the Geological State Museum after G. Gabrielyants in Shoushi.
The Central Information Department of the Office of the Artsakh Republic President informed “Armenpress” that President Sahakyan expressed his gratitude to academician Grigory Gabrielyants for the realization of the project and highlighted the importance of such a museum in the life of the town and the republic, underlining that it should become a significant scientific-educational and tourism center.
Primate of Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, NKR National Assembly chairman Ashot Ghоulyan, prime-minister Ara Haroutyunyan, other officials and foreign guests took part in the event.
