YEREVAN, AUGUST 1, ARMENPRESS. The Press Service of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan stated that 8 servicemen of the Azerbaijani Army died on July 31. But they are hiding the fact that the loss of their soldiers is the result of the suspension by the Armenian Armed Forces of the failed subversive act against the Nagorno Karabakh Republic. Naturally, the actual number of their casualties is also kept in secret.

The rival attacked military positions of one of the military units located in the northern direction of the line of contact of the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing armies on July 31.

Facing with an organized resistance of the military position’s personnel, the rival was thrown back to the primary positions suffering numerous losses. According to the information of the Armenian side, the rival recorded over ten casualties and almost twenty injured. Unfortunately, two serviceman of the Karabakh Defense Army were killed in the result of the operation. An investigation has been launched to reveal the details of the incident.
