The State Commission for Prisoners of War, Hostages, and Missing Persons of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic has issued a statement regarding the Azerbaijani diversionists, which were arrested in the Nagorno Karabakh Republic. As reports “Armenpress”, it is said in the statement that the State Commission for Prisoners of War, Hostages, and Missing Persons of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic has applied to the investigator of the case of the Azerbaijani citizens arrested in the territory of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic asking him to allow to hold a meeting between the arrested saboteurs and the representatives of the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC). The investigator satisfied the commission’s mediation. The meeting was held today on July 26.

Among other things, it was stated: “As for the third member of the group, who was killed, the State Commission for Prisoners of War, Hostages, and Missing Persons of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic expresses its willingness to collaborate with the International Committee of Red Cross to hand the body over to his relatives, once his identity is determined and after the end of the investigation.”
