Russia's investigative commission charges Levon Hayrapetyan

YEREVAN, JULY 25, ARMENPRESS. The Investigative Commission of the Russian Federation charged Armenian businessman Levon Hayrapetyan on the accusations regarding the Article 160 and 174 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Levon Hayrapetyan is suspected of embezzlement and illegal legalization of Bashneft shares. As reports “Armenpress” citing Vedomosti newspaper, a source close to the law enforcement authorities told the Russian newspaper about this.

Previously it was reported that the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation arrested Russia-resident rich Armenian businessman Levon Hayrapetyan. As reports “Armenpress” citing “Rosbalt”, Levon Hayrapetyan was detained on July 15 in Domodedovo Airport, where the airplane landed from Monaco.

The investigators transported the Armenian businessman to the Investigation Committee of the Russian Federation under special surveillance, where he was officially informed about the arrest.

The law enforcement authorities suspect Levon Hayrapetyan of having connections with the band led by criminal authority Sergey Finagin
