About 250 families move to Armenia due to efforts of Union of Armenians of Ukraine

YEREVAN, JULY 24, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian community of Ukraine is united and the representatives of the community support each other in the conditions of intense political situation. The Executive Director of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine Davit Mkrtchyan stated this in a conversation with “Armenpress”. “The largest Armenian community is in Donetsk. They are in an awkward situation. The Union of Armenians of Ukraine spares no effort to help them,” Davit Mkrtchyan noted.

Among other things, the Executive Director of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine Davit Mkrtchyan underscored: “I can state that due to our help, about 250 families moved to Armenia during the last three months. Notwithstanding, in my opinion, the majority will come back, when the conflict stops, as they have left their houses, jobs, and property here.”
