YEREVAN, JULY 12, ARMENPRESS. The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, who is in an official visit to Chile, had a meeting with Mayor of the Chilean capital city Santiago Carolina Tohá. The Mass Media and Public Relations Department of the President’s Office informed “Armenpress” that following the official welcoming ceremony at the Santiago City Hall, the Mayor handed the city’s key and certificate of honorable visitor over to the Armenian President.

The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan noted that he is glad to be in one of the best cities of Latin America Santiago and meet with the skilled leader of this constantly flourishing city in Mayor Tohá’s face. Among other things, the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan emphasized: “At the same time I am glad to receive the symbolic key of marvelous Santiago. I accept it as a sign of lasting friendship and future expansion of bilateral ties between the capital cities of Armenia and Chile.”
