Armenians injured in Aleppo

Armenians injured in Aleppo

YEREVAN, JULY 4, ARMENPRESS. On July 3, two Armenians were injured in the Armenian New Village neighborhood of Aleppo. “Armenpress” was informed about this from Aleppo's news office. Harut Chorpajyan and David Meykhanajyan were injured in the result of explosion of gas barrels thrown by the terrorist groupings.

During the last two months, dozens of Armenians have been injured or died in Aleppo. The situation has rapidly deteriorated in Aleppo, in particular, in the Armenian New Village district, since the first days of June. The terrorist groups, the important part of which are the Turk or pro-Turkish radical terrorist groupings, launched different kinds of destructive rockets and bombs.  The rockets fallen in the Armenian New Village district, besides the human damage, caused terrible material damage. The New Village district, once populated with Armenians, is today an area of disaster and ruins. During the three-year conflict in Syria, the number of the killed Armenians is over 100.

A call was addressed to all Armenians to support by all means to stop the inhumane shelling, for the sake of people's physical safety.
