YEREVAN, JULY 3, ARMENPRESS. The Government has provided 550 million AMD up to now to compensate the loss of the farming economies because of the climatic problems at the beginning of the year.  The programs of the targeted assistance have been already carried out by 85-88 percent in Ararat, Armavir, Aragatsotn and Kotayk Provinces which gives an opportunity to speak about their results. At the course of the meeting organized for the mass media, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, the Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan informed that the mentioned program was directed to the compensation of the land tax and water charge of the farming economies suffered in the result of the climate bad conditions. “This was among the issues to which the Government tried to give a prior solution. Targeted assistance was shown to Ararat, Armavir, Aragatsotn and Kotayk Provinces. We tried to compensate the duties of the communities by the farming economies compensating to some extent the sum of land tax and water charge. These events have been already assessed, and today I can say that the programs are carried out by 85-88 percent. Today we also try to support the farmers within the frames of the seasonal employment program when a person can work in his farm and the country pays him for that,” the Deputy Prime Minister stated this, Armenpress reports.
