A number of Azeri media, referring to the Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko’s interview given to the Serbian TV and Radio Company and the "Politika" daily, noted that the Russian President Vladimir Putin has called on Azerbaijan to join the Eurasian Economic Union. In fact, in the above-mentioned interview published today on the website of "Politika", the President of Belarus did not even mention the word Azerbaijan, did not even mention that name of the geographical area in his answer to the question on ​​the prospects of the Eurasian Economic Space, the video of which is available on the official website of the President of Belarus. "The Eurasian Economic Union has great prospects. Even in the phase of signing the Treaty by the three countries, the interest towards it is huge. I am not talking about China, with which we are negotiating, cooperating, today Vietnam, India announce about this, other states, you also see you here. I am confident that Ukraine will not be able to avoid the cooperation with that union" - said the Head of Belarus, considering the newly formed union a factor contributing to the multipolarity.

To comment on the work-style of the Azerbaijani media, "Armenpress" asked an expert on regional issues Araks Kasyan, who noted that Azerbaijan is willing to create a negative shade upon the inevitable integration of Armenia to the EEU, realizing the positive effects for the economic development of Armenia. "We deal with the usual work-style of the Azerbaijani media when the imagination makes it possible to represent the highly desirable as a reality"- said Kasyan.
